Seemore | UX Case Study
The development of Seemore was conducted as part of a User Experience 2 class at Santa Monica College, Spring 2019. The process included research (competitive analysis, ethnography, desk, user interviews), personas, user flows, prototyping, user testing (Wizard of Oz, guerilla, contextual), and several iterations. Seemore is a health and behavior change system that combines smart pill technology with augmented reality (AR) to improve messages being sent along the gut-brain axis. The swallowable "smart pill" pairs with the AR glasses and monitors a user's gut health. Based on data collected by the pill, the AR glasses aid the user in real-time to improve their dietary and lifestyle habits in order to improve their gut microbiome. This starts a domino effect of overall healing; physical, psychological, and emotional.
